Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving

It’s a day of gratitude and thankfulness and I just wanted to say that I’m thankful to all my blogging friends and followers. You all have made this past year so enjoyable with our wonderful exchanges.

I love the Thanksgiving holiday because it’s so focused on family. I’m beyond grateful for my amazing family and I’m thrilled to be spending Thanksgiving with my Mom and Dad. They live in North Carolina and have decided to spend the winter with me in Texas! This is the first Thanksgiving that we’ve been together in a very long time. I’m always busy sitting dogs and so have missed many holidays with family. I’m thankful that my brother and sister-in-law will be coming to visit in January. I’ve been in my new house since 2003 and my brother hasn’t even seen it yet!

I’m grateful for my two goofy greyhounds Picasso & Luca who make my life complete. They keep me laughing all the time. I’m thankful for all the dogs who come to stay at my home and for all my dogsitting customers who continue to entrust me to care for their precious animal companions when they travel.

I’m thankful for all the incredible friends I have in my life. I don’t know what I’d do without them.

May you all be spending this fabulous day with loved ones and rejoicing in gratitude for that blessed love. Happy Thanksgiving.

    • Thanks Debbie. You guys up in the northern regions already had your Thanksgiving, huh? Happy Belated Thanksgiving! Do they make a big deal out of Black Friday shopping and Cyber Monday up in Canada like they do here?
      Have a great weekend! XOXO

      • Yes, our Thanksgiving is in October – what you call “Columbus Day”. Not nearly as much fun as yours! 🙂 A few years ago, stores here started with that “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” stuff, but as usual, the sales aren’t nearly as good as in the U.S.

  1. Thank you and I wish fun and happiness for your holiday. My wife and I will be spending a quiet celebration with just us for a change. We’re planning to go out for a simple dinner–probably Boston Market–and no work or hubbub for the day. Sometimes simple can be a mighty fine respite.
