Battle of the Bands April Fool’s Day Edition!

Welcome to the April Fool’s Edition of Battle of the Bands. I thought I’d have a little fun with this one. (If you’re looking for my A-Z post, scroll down to the next post).

I’m featuring two parodies, both poking fun at Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball video. In order to fully appreciate this battle, you will have to see the original video of Miley Cyrus performing her song Wrecking Ball. So take a look at this first:

 

My battle pits a hilarious parody featuring Megan Elizabeth vs. a very funny lip sync parody done by actress Anne Hathaway.

Here are the contenders:

Contender #1: “Reiki Me” — the Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball parody featuring Megan Elizabeth:

 

 

Contender #2: Actress Anne Hathaway lip syncs Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball:  NOTE: GO TO THE 2:20 MARK to see just the Anne Hathaway performance (otherwise you’ll see Emily Blunt lip syncing Janis Joplin’s Piece of My Heart, which is worth watching but it’s not part of the battle). Sorry, this is the only video that I could find which features Anne Hathaway’s full performance (which can be found at the 2:20 mark):
