Wow, this one was really neck and neck! The song was The Guess Who’s “These Eyes” and the contenders were Jr. Walker and JackSOUL. Until the very last votes were in, these two were tied in the race for the win. But the last two votes, including mine, gave the prize to JackSOUL.
I had a hard time because I really loved Jr. Walker’s version, especially with his sax! But JackSOUL’s smooth soulful voice won me out.
The votes stacked up like this:
Jr. Walker: 7 votes
JackSOUL: 9 votes

We always have the house full for Christmas and especially New Year’s but hubby is off work for 10 days and we enjoy “cocooning” at home with the dogs, just like you. 🙂

OK-I missed you too! I hate that because I love these battles!! I blame …moi:) Christmas and all is getting ahead of me. I love the Guess Who and Randy Bachman’s (he’s from the Guess Who right?) ancestors come from my mom’s hometown-Wittenberg, Germany.
