Wow, this is a first for me as a Battle of the Bands participant: my battle resulted in a Tie! The battle pitted Yvonne Elliman against Aswad for the Eagles original song Best of My Love.
The 16 votes were split right down the middle: of the responses, there were 8 votes for Yvonne Elliman and 7 votes for Aswad and then my vote for the British Reggae band brought it up to 8 for the tie.

This must have been the week for ties. I always thought it would be rather difficult to result in a tie but I’ve been seeing more and more of them. Great song, great match up.
