What do you think of this? Would you feel comfortable having dogs use public transportation? If you know me, you know how I’d vote on this one!

  1. They were discussing this story on the radio here in L.A. yesterday. An amazing story. I’m not sure that I’d be thrilled about dogs just hopping on buses to ride around town, but they might be preferable to some of the people I’ve seen on the buses. I haven’t actually been on a public transit bus for many years, but I see them passing near my house a lot and through those big windows I see some people whom I might feel uncomfortable sitting beside. Maybe the dogs could keep things in check.

  2. I love this story so much. I can’t help but be amazed by the intelligence of this dog! I don’t ride the bus much, but if I did, I wouldn’t mind it at all. The only problem I see are people who are allergic to dogs, like my husband, whom would never be able to be on the same bus.

    • Good point! I never gave allergies a thought. Oh wow, I have to feel really sorry for anyone who is allergic to dogs! That’s sooooo sad! To be denied the opportunity to love and be loved by a dog is just a tragedy, I think. Can he do hypoallergenic dogs like doodles??
