I get such a kick out of my dogs when they, after a bath in my shower, go rip-tearing around the house or zooming around the yard after an outside bath on a hot summer day. I’ve always thought it was because they were so happy to be fresh and clean! I mean, I’m always happy when I get out of the shower. I love being clean! Don’t dogs too?

i think bathing loosens their screws
my only personal pet a female spitz used to go all cuckoo after every bath, her first attempt used to be go to the garden and get all muddy, if she failed in that she used to start searching for me, so she could get all snuggly against me and shake off all the water on me 🙂

Oh how sweet! It is crazy how the first thing they want to do after a bath is go roll in some dirt! Quirky little creatures, aren’t they? My life would be so empty without them.
